Tournament Format
Pool Play: 3 Game guarantee
The tournament consists of 4 pools named: North, South, East and West. Each pool contains 4 teams. All teams in the pool will play each other once, resulting in 3 games per team to complete the pool play. The winner from each pool will advance to the Final Four. The Final Four teams will play single elimination format to determine Tournament Champion

How the Pool play Winner will be determined:
1. The team with the most wins will advance as the pool winner.

2. In the case of 2 teams in the pool having the same record, the winner of their head to head game will advance as the pool winner.

3. If the two teams that tied in record, also tied their head to head game, then total runs scored during pool play will be the determination.

4. If the teams are still tied after the 2 tiebreakers, then a flip of the coin will determine the team that advances.

Game Format/Rule: Pool Play
Each Pool Play game will be 7 innings long or 70 minutes in length, whichever comes first. A new inning will not be allowed to start after 60 minutes have passed. If time is up during the middle of an inning, the teams will be allowed complete the full inning to determine a game winner. If at the end of regulation time/innings the game is tied, then each team will receive a credit of ½ a win toward their pool play record.

Game Format: Final Four
The final four games will follow the same rules as the Pool Play games with the exception of:

1. These are single elimination games

2. Each final four game will be a regulation 7 inning softball game.

3. Run rule: 15 after 4 innings, 12 after 5.

Game Rules:
ASA umpires will umpire our games, thus our games will follow the rules of the Umpire’s association. The umpire has the final say on all rulings. The rules listed below are in addition to the association’s rules and are either specific to our tournament or meant to be a point of emphasis. Please read all rules thoroughly.

1. This is a slow pitch Tournament. The Arc on all pitches must be 6’ to 12’ from the pitcher’s point of release; otherwise it will be called illegal and called a ball. Note the batter may swing at an illegal pitch.

2. Each game will begin promptly at the designated time. Any team not ready to play within 5 minutes of the start time will forfeit that game. The only exception will be in the case of a previous game running long.

3. Each batter will start with a 1 ball 1 strike count. Foul third strike is considered a strikeout.

4. After the second inning, No infield practice will be allowed, and the pitcher will be given 1 minute for all warm-up pitches. This is in an effort to speed up play.

5. A team must have at least 8 players to start a game, and may have up to 10 players in the field.

6. A team will be allowed to bat up to 12 players.

7. There is no re-entry rule; this is to make sure every one gets a chance to play.

8. Run Rule: 20 after 3 innings, 15 after 4, and 10 after 5.

9. No metal cleats may be worn.

10. On close plays the player MUST slide or give them self up. If the runner does not he will be called out.

11. No Leading , Bunting or Stealing

12. Runners must remain on base until the ball reaches home plate. If a runner is off base before that time, they will be declared automatically out.

13. Each team is responsible for maintaining the score, and should confirm the score with the Umpire between each inning.

14. All bats must be ASA legal

15. One courtesy runner is allowed. The replacement runner will be the player who recorded the last out.
